Bulletproof Protection in Nevada - Look No Further

Protection by the laws of Nevada is one of the two predominant reasons why people come to incorporate there. Nevada corporation protection is at the level you can hardly achieve in any other state, the government's long-term strategy for creating a business-friendly corporate environment playing the principal role.

Generally, a major advantage of any corporate form is that it limits the personal liability of its owners for claims against the corporation. State of Nevada laws go further in that respect than the laws of most other states. Officers and directors of Nevada corporations can be protected, if certain conditions are met, from personal liability for lawful acts of the corporation.

If the rules are followed, privacy protection is very high-level as well. For example, stockholders are not public record. Nevada also allows, unlike most of the other U.S. states, the existence of bearer shares. No Internal Revenue Service information sharing agreement is a valid argument for most tax-perceptive investors. Here it is fair to say that the level of tax privacy comes at cost: Nevada corporations have a higher audit rate that those incorporated in other U.S. states.

The main intention here being not the "beat the system" motto, but a work within the system adhering to its rules. That is the only way that can bring you the highest level of protection under laws of Nevada.

Mere incorporating with a random incorporator or registered agent in Nevada is far from getting you a sufficient level of protection for your assets and privacy, and the do-it-yourself incorporation is probably the worst option in case you are after asset and privacy protection.

If your corporation gets sued in any other state than Nevada, be prepared that the local laws of that state will apply, also federal courts are another possible uncertainty with regards to applicability of the law of Nevada on your particular case, unless your incorporation and all the step afterwards were made in cooperation with experts to ensure your protection is as bulletproof as possible.
